[MOVIE REVIEW]: DISNEY'S "FROZEN"

Featuring the voices of Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, "Frozen" is the coolest comedy-adventure ever to hit the big screen. When a prophecy traps a kingdom in eternal winter, Anna, a fearless optimist, teams up with extreme mountain man Kristoff and his sidekick reindeer Sven on an epic journey to find Anna's sister Elsa, the Snow Queen, and put an end to her icy spell. Encountering mystical trolls, a funny snowman named Olaf, Everest-like extremes and magic at every turn, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom from destruction.
The story is centered around two sisters Anna (Kristen Bell) and Elsa (Idina Menzel),wo aside been sisters were inseparable friends until Elsa zapped Anna accidentally while playing with her ability (the ability to turn anything into ice,and materialize ice out of thin air, even cause a snow storm). This incident led to the somehow wiping away of Anna's memory concerning anything that had to do with Elsa's power, so Elsa grew up in isolation because of the fear of the uncontrollable nature of her powers and Anna grew up alone without any memory of her sister's power, the two girls gradually grew apart.
This went on until their parents died at sea in a shipwreck, the girls remained locked up in the castle until they turn 18 and it was time for Elsa to be coronated as queen, the two girls then re-unite in a very awkward manner, One way or the other things go out of hand and Elsa losses  control of her power and sets off an everlasting winter, she then run's away form the kingdom and goes to hide in a mountain (magically constructing a castle completely out of ice and transforms from Elsa the queen to Elsa the ice queen in a dazzling makeover). With none to run the affairs of the kingdom, Anna leaves the kingdom in search of her sister so that she could restore summer and stop the everlasting winter,on the way to find her sister she meets an ice seller named Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his sidekick reindeer Sven (), they also encounter a funny snowman Olaf (Josh Gad), (which so far is my favorite character).
Well left to me the movie is a good one, released on November 19 of  2013 (i just recently watched it) and it was directed by Jenifer lee and Chris buck, the wonderful musical throughout the whole movie was compose by Christopher beck. The movie had a lot of laughs, thankfully, the jokes consistently land, particularly those involving cheery, innocent snowman Olaf, and the snowy, icy animation is impeccable. The big songs are also appropriately stirring: Idina Menzel belts Let It Go like it insulted her mother and Gad’s In Summer is a cheery, comic ditty straight out of The Book Of Mormon’s playbook. There is even one plot turn that qualifies as radical in fairy tale terms and perhaps signals a more daring way to approach these films. Given how closely most of this entry resembles the beats and tone of Tangled, it feels like Disney Animation should take more such risks, to add more individual identity to the craft.
But overall it is a good movie that teaches a lot to the younger generation about the power of love and togetherness (i'm starting to sound like a preacher).

9 Month Old Boy Charged with Attempted Murder in Pakistan

Mohammed Musa Khan Bella Naija

This case is surely one for the history books. A 9-month-old Pakistani toddler, Muhammad Mosa Khan, is probably the youngest person to have ever been charged with attempted murder.
In addition to attempted murder, he was also charged with interfering with state affairs and threatening police. He was booked in February alongside members of his family and thirty others because they allegedly threw bricks and stones at police officers and energy officials who were raiding homes in the Lahore area of Pakistan. The residents were accused of not paying their electricity bills.
It was allegedly the decision of one Inspector Kashif Ahmed, to arrest Baby Muhammad, The Independent reports.
“He doesn’t even know how to pick up his milk bottle properly. How can he stone the police?” said the baby’s distraught grandfather, as the little boy was being fingerprinted in court.
The judge presiding over the case eventually granted bail for the child and the other accused people.
Following media coverage of the event and public outrage, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, instructed the police to immediately suspend Ahmed  for arresting the toddler. The case against Baby Muhammad was dismissed a few days ago.
In Pakistan, the age of criminal responsibility is supposed to be 12-years-old.

BOMB BLAST AT ABUJA BUS STATION KILLS SEVERAL THIS MORNING

This is not good. Two blasts at Nyanya Motor Park on the outskirts of Abuja this morning April 14th has killed several people with many injured.
The blast occurred at the crowded bus station around 6.30am today during rush hour as commuters were about to board buses and taxis to go to work in central Abuja. Two buses full of people were struck. It is believed that one of the buses, which was parked overnight at the motor park, was loaded with the bomb that went off this morning.
The explosion occurred in a section of Nyanya park allocated to luxury buses. An eyewitness said he saw at least 50 bodies being removed from the scene..

[MUST READ]:5 BAD ASS NIGERIANS WHOSE LIVES WOULD MAKE AWESOME MOVIES

I actually siphoned this from someone else's blog but it is just too awesome to not read, so enjoy the most badass nigerians ever (if there is anything like that) please do well to leave your comments:5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies                                                                                                                                                     BADASS: Def: Ability to do things others could/would not do and do them in such a way that people are left wondering how and why, while either being filled with dread or fear or awe.
Before we go on, let me just say that if you’re living in Nigeria, just the fact of your survival is badass.
Give yourself a hand.
But from among us few individuals have risen whose badassdom is of such nature that we would go to the cinemas, pay for tickets, buy some popcorn and watch 2 hours of their lives play out on screen.

WOLE SOYINKA: Writer and Rebel

For the uninitiated, Wole Soyinka appears to be nothing more than the National mascot for old venerable wise men who should be listened to but are not. It’s the beard I think. So fluffy and white.
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
You may know him for his Nobel prize. Or for the books he’s written which you may have had to read in Secondary school.
What you may not know is that this guy
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Was once this guy
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
And this younger roguish version of himself spent a lot of time looking for trouble, inciting the populace and generally leading a life of great excitement.
With a script taken directly from his life, the movie of Soyinka’s life will be filled with many moments of taut tension. The movie will show his face, young and earnest, as he founds the first confraternity, pronounced today as ‘cult’.
The camera cuts to him, going on radio to publicly challenge the results of the 1964-1965 Nigerian elections. We see him arrested and tossed in the back of a black maria.
We see him squinting as he steps into the sunlight, a free man, 3 months later.
We see him trying to avert the Nigerian civil war, and languishing in prison for two years as a result.
We see as he struggles to survive in prison with no medical attention, no books or writing material.
Ever the rebel, we see as he manufactures his own ink and begins keeping a prison diary. We hold our breaths as he writes his poetry on cigarette packets and toilet paper and smuggles these out.
After his release in 1967, Wole Soyinka takes one look at the country which has spurned and mistreated him, and leaves.
In 1975, our hero returns, because (dramatic pause and look into the mid distance) “His work was not yet done.”
He receives the Nobel Prize.
A few years later, the military smash down his door: “Where is he,” they yell, at the frightened occupants. “Where is the man Soyinka?”
Suspense. Tension. Will he be caught. Is he finally done for?
No, our man has escaped to the Nigeria/Benin border.
The camera catches his face as he takes one long look at the country he loves, the country which is so determined to kill him, and he smuggles (himself) off into the sunset. Into exile.
The movie could end here, but that’s not the end of the story: He still continued(s) some of the badass things he’s known for: Getting tried for treason by Sani Abacha, speaking out against rigged elections, and condemning evil men in power making stupid decisions.
Real life hero, ladies and gentlemen.
And our very own.
The actor to play this is so obvious, it’s ridiculous.
Morgan Freeman.

And a Good Title Would be
THE MAN DIDN’T DIE
(I’m still working on this one.)

OLUSEGUN OBASANJO: The Slippery Man Of Intrigue

When Mandela died earlier this year, the thought flitted across many Nigerian minds: “Who is our own Mandela? Who can we look up to as the symbol for freedom and rebellion against oppression?”
Well I am glad to inform all that if you were looking for a man to be our Mandela, to stand for all the things he stood for and mean what Mandela meant to his people, it would NOT be this man:5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
But if you were looking for a man, who’s life would become a movie akin to say, Long Walk To Freedom, with prison time and intrigue and political hoodlumery, then Olusegun Obasanjo is your man.
Oh he may not have been a man of integrity, but a man of intrigue? Why, certainly, Sir. Certainly.
First of all, this was the man that commanded the Army’s 3 Marine Commando Division that basically fought the battle that brought the civil war to an end. So, right, he was a Commando.
Now, guess who did NOT participate in the military coup of 1975, but ended up as the Murtala’s second in command?
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Okay, okay, then when Murtala was killed during Col. Dimka’s attempted coup, guess who got away untouched?
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
And became the Number one man in the country?
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Then in a move so brilliant and so cunning, guess who handed the reigns of the country over to civilian rule with an innocent look on his face like: “Who? Me? What? Rule this country? Never.”
And then, years later, when Abubakar Abdulsalam was doing the same thing, viz: handing over the reigns of the country to civilian rule with an innocent look on his face, guess who stepped up and was like: “Guys? Me! Over here. Pick me! Pick me!”
And guess who won the election?
Guess who got through his 2 terms, got away with not being liked, got away with almost being impeached repeatedly, with sneakily pushing for a 3rd term, and with telling an obnoxious student rep “Your Fada!” on national TV, among other things?

We are all survivors, but this man does it better than all of us.

5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies

Lawrence Anini aka Anini: The One Man Mopol

The notorious Anini was born in Benin and seemingly made it his life’s ambition to go down in history as the baddest guy to ever liveth.
This dude murdered, pillaged, robbed his way through life and apparently, took only one picture:
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Seriously.
His nickame? The Law. Because, as a matter of fact, he was.
This dude literally spent his early years being Jason Statham: transporting goods for kingpins and gangsters, criminal godfathers and thieves.
After a while, we assume he got bored and decided to branch out into car-jacking, bus robbing and bank thievery.
This guy wasn’t no joke, he had the police in his pocket, and when they reneged on the deal and sent a couple of his goons to prison, nine police officers died in the space of 3 months, and not from natural causes.
This guy would rob, steal and pillage, and then in a really smart but totally dick move, he would spread his booty along the road for people to pick up.
(Get your mind out of the gutter).
Then he would write letters to the police, taunting them, and effectively calling himself Robin Hood.
This movie is practically writing itself. I’m not making this up.
There are 2 rumours about him, that I think must make it into his movie.
The first is that mothers would use the name Anini to scare their children. As in: Be good or Anini will get you.
The second is that once, with police in hot pursuit, he drove miles at top speed to escape capture. And did this driving in reverse.
In friggin’ reverse.
Headlines based on and around him at the time include: ‘Anini Challenge’, the ‘Anini Saga’, the ‘Anini Factor’, ‘Lawrence Anini – the Man, the Myth’, , and ‘Lawrence Anini: A Robin Hood in Bendel’, ‘Will they ever find Anini, “The Law”?’ and ‘Anini, Jack the Ripper’ by a Newspaper editor with an over-active imagination.
Anini met his end in a rather anti-climactic way: police simply walked into his room and found him chilling. Then they shot his leg off and took him to prison.
And then, this hardened career criminal preceded to perform a complete 180 and began snitching on everyone and everything with gusto.
The larger lesson, kids, is that crime doesn't pay. And isn't big in the health benefits department either.

Fela Anikulapo Kuti aka Fela: Lone Ranger

Any bio of the African icon Fela will include: multi-instrumentalist, musician, composer, pioneer of the Afrobeat music genre, and human rights activist.
They always forget to leave out Badass Specialist.
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Fela, in true reality of the word, was really the one man army, the lonesome rebel fighting against the machine.
Here he was just making music, getting his band together, and along the wayinventing Afrobeat.
Eventually, he made music so powerful, the government sent a thousand friendly soldiers down to Kalakuta republic to investigate.
Their investigation involved smashing everything, beating Fela up and throwing his mother through a window. Not cool guys. Not cool at all.
When his mother died from her injuries, Fela, the lone warrior, the single maverick, the heroic troublemaker, took her body to Dodan barracks where Obasanjo lived, a pretty ballsy move. Then he dedicated two songs, “Coffin for Head of State” and “Unknown Soldier”, to the evil military.
Then a year later, Fela married 27 wives on the same day, because when you’re totally badass, you can celebrate the anniversary of the government beating you up any damn way you want.
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Don’t mess with me
Ever the rebel, Fela succeeded in getting himself banned from Ghana, when riots broke out during a performance of his hit song: Zombie.
Then he put together his political party, movement of the people, in order to run for president.
In my personal opinion, the sight of the Nigerian President, lounging in underwear and rolling a joint, is one the world has been cheated off.
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Tell the Ghanaian ambassador to suck my…
Fela also got charged with currency smuggling, toured internationally, got sent to prison, got charged with murder, and single-handedly infuriated and caused more sleepless nights to more Presidents and leaders than anyone we can remember, except Mr Ibu.
Near the end of his life, he said, “I believe there is a plan…I believe there is no accident in our lives. What I am experiencing today completely vindicates the African religions…I will do my part…then I’ll just go, man…Just go!”
Then he told the doctors to leave him the hell alone and JUST WENT. Like a boss.

Shina Rambo

The most important thing to know is that the original Shina Rambo is this guy
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
and not this guy
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
It is also instructive to know that HKN’s Shina Rambo is not HKN’s B-Red
5 Badass Nigerians Whose Lives Would Make Awesome Movies
Had me confused there for a minute.
Anyway, the real Shina Rambo was a terrible person.
Shina Rambo was a sad new telegram on a rainy day. Shina Rambo was a bad news bear, and I’m not even sure what those are.
He restricted his badassery to being downright nasty.
If you really want to understand what I mean, please read his wikipedia page, written by a very excited and over-enthusiastic individual, I must say.
We’ll recount the highlights of his life, as quickly as possible. They are not pleasant.
-At age 7, he learnt how to assemble a gun from watching his father (a career criminal, himself)
-Survived 2 attacks from his father who tried to shoot him and later at night behead him with a friggin’ machete.
-Became a nasty, very successful and dangerous armed robber.
Allegedly, Sina Rambo confessed to pounding 27 live new born babies in the mortar with a pestle, cutting off about 100 human tongues and cooking them to eat, living in an Iroko tree for days, and sleeping in the cemetery.
From here, things get really horrible.
He lived inside more trees. Then he killed the 9 herbalists who prepared his magic so they wouldn’t ever reveal his secrets. Then he slept with his mother.
He once stole 40 cars and drove them from Lagos to Cotonou unchallenged. He once spent 50 million Naira in a day.
Then he got caught. Went to prison. Met Jesus and became a changed man.
Upon being pardoned, he left his robbing ways to become a preacher.
Some would argue that in this country, that’s about the same thing.
As a matter of fact we shouldn’t make this movie. It’s too horrific and unbelievable. Plus, it seems no one’s sure the man preaching now as Shina Rambo is actually Shina Rambo.
Apparently, he got killed.
Is he dead?
Is he alive?
Did he fake his own death and use his skills to pursue a career in politics?
You know what? Scrap it. Let’s not make this movie. Let’s just leave this one alone.
Movie Title (If we were making it): Shina Rambo (No Relations)
Actor: Djimon Hounsou

AMERICAN COLLEGE STUDIES MILEY CYRUS

A college in Saratoga Springs, NY is promoting a new sociology course entitled ‘The Sociology Of Miley Cyrus’. The class description says that the course uses Miley Cyrus as a lens through which students can explore themes about race, gender, and identity in the media.

The course literature states; ‘The current media frenzy focused on Miley Cyrus (her public image, her music, and more) highlights the ways in which intersectional identities are shaped by pop culture and mass media. In this special topics course, we will examine core issues of intersectionality theory, looking at the interplay among race, class, and gender, as well as taking a feminist critique of media and sociology of media approach to the Miley “problem.”’
The class will also cover a variety of topics including:
• The rise of the Disney Princess
• Gender stratification and the hyper-commodification of childhood
• Transitions to adulthood
• What happens to Disney stars as they age (see Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, and more)
• Allies and appropriation
• Uses of culture across race, class, and gender
• Bisexuality, queerness, and the female body

Nigeria overtakes South Africa as the continent’s largest economy

oil rig
Africa has a new economic frontrunner. Nigeria has released figures suggesting the oil-rich country has overtaken South Africa in terms of gross domestic product. But do the numbers reflect reality?
Nigeria has long boasted the highest population in Africa, but now it is also officially home to the continent's strongest economy.
Recent calculations from the Nigerian statistics office estimate the value of the country's economy at around €369 billion ($509 billion) - nearly twice as high as previously thought. South Africa, long the economic frontrunner on the continent, has a GDP of €229 billion ($315 billion). But what may come as a shock to most laypeople is less surprising to some experts. The director of the Standard Chartered Bank's Africa department, Razia Khan, recently authored a study championing Nigeria's economic might.
"Nigeria's economy will achieve global relevance this year," Khan said in an interview with Deutsche Welle.
When advising clients who are planning investments in Africa, Khan is quick to express her enthusiasm about Nigeria.
"There is absolutely no way around it," she said.
But other observers are more cautious and even warn that the latest statistics should not be viewed as a precise appraisal of economic life in Nigeria, but rather as a forecast.
The new calculations are higher than before because parameters have been adjusted to reflect modern conditions for the first time since 1990. Revenues from the telecommunications industry, for instance, as well as the film industry Nollywood, have finally been included.

NIGERIA GETS A NEW FLAG DESIGN

Proposed new national flag adopts a rainbow design to take into account the aspirations of Nigeria's 250 ethnic groups
This is not the flag design: Proposed new national flag adopts a rainbow design to take into account the aspirations of Nigeria’s 250 ethnic groups
As part of the national re-engineering project of the Federal Government, President Goodluck Jonathan is set to unveil a new national flag design at the on-going National Conference, The Trent has learnt exclusively.
According to our sources in the Presidency, the new national flag takes into account the aspirations of Nigeria’s 250 ethnic groups.
“For sometime the issue of our boring green-white-green national flag has been on the President’s table,” a senior member of the President’s aides told The Trent. “Frankly, speaking our national flag lacks character and does not take into account our rich diversity as a country.”The new design, which adopts a rainbow theme and which has been made available to The Trent, was designed by a team of the best graphic artists in the country.
“We have been on this for a while, it is absolutely brilliant,” another source in the Presidency said. “This is the dawning of a new sense of pride in Nigerians.”
The new national flag has been ready for the past three months, but it was being kept secret for a grand reveal at the National Conference. So, why doesn’t the President present the flag to the National Assembly? “The National Conference is a better platform because the event is hoisted on the nation’s unity, and this new flag is about uniting Nigerians which is a topic that the President is very passionate about,” our source revealed.
The current national flag was designed in 1959 and first officially hoisted on October 1, 1960. The two unique sea-green bands represent the forests and abundant natural wealth of Nigeria while the white band represents peace and was designed by a student, Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi.

MIKEL,MOSES LISTED IN CHELSEA MASS CLEAR OUT

Mikel and MosesChelsea are planning a mass clear-out of more than 10 players in the summer, with Fernando Torres, Ashley Cole and Mikel Obi all set to leave.
Manager Jose Mourinho admitted after Saturday’s 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace that changes had to be made in order to improve the squad for next season. While the Portuguese again revealed his frustration over his underperforming strikers, a number of players in different positions are on their way out according to a London Evening Standard report.
The senior members of the squad who are vulnerable include Torres, Demba Ba, Samuel Eto’o, David Luiz, Mikel, Cole and back-up goalkeepers Mark Schwarzer and Hilario.
Anxious to adapt to UEFA’s Financial Fair Play rules, the club want to bring down the wage bill, which means they will let Luiz leave for £30m and are prepared to sell some of the 28 players currently loaned out including Romelu Lukaku, Marko Marin, Victor Moses, Ryan Bertrand, Gael Kakuta and Josh McEachran.
Mourinho is determined to make some high-profile signings, including Atletico Madrid forward Diego Costa, to improve their ability to challenge on all fronts and is aware he has to raise funds to bring in the quality he wants.
The club have run out of patience with Torres, who has two years left on his £175,000-a-week contract. He has scored just four League goals this season and if a permanent move cannot be secured, a loan one is a possibility. Ba has confirmed he will be leaving Stamford Bridge after failing to make an impact since joining from Newcastle 15 months ago.
Eto’o has been Chelsea’s best forward with 11 goals and the club have an option to keep him for another season when his contract runs out in May but no decision has been made on that.
Super Eagles midfielder, Mikel has found himself frozen out since Nemanja Matic joined for £21m in January and Chelsea hope he can command a large fee because he has three years left on his contract.
As Standard Sport revealed, the club are also prepared to cash in on Brazil international Luiz. Paris St-Germain and Barcelona are both interested in his services. Significantly, Mourinho substituted Luiz at half-time at Selhurst Park for “tactical reasons” and has rarely played him in his preferred central-defensive role this year.
Chelsea are also confident they can make a significant profit on their loan players. Lukaku has scored 13 goals at Everton but his relationship with Mourinho has soured and he has had a price tag of £20m-plus put on his head.
Moses and Marin, at Liverpool and Sevilla respectively, cost £16m between them in 2012 and are not part of the Chelsea coach’s plans, so permanent moves will be sought.
Mourinho dropped a major hint over his intentions at Selhurst Park. “We want to improve the team and the players and make some surgical movements in the transfer window,” he said.
“Normally at the end of the season, players that are not playing a lot or who are not happy and prefer a change, that is also part of the market.”

Google Earth Finds Woman Trapped On Deserted Island For 7 Years

6a48v-google-earth-SOSintroGoogle Earth Finds Woman Trapped On Deserted Island For 7 Years. in 2007, Gemma Sheridan and two friends went out on a voyage that was to take them from their hometown of Liverpool, across the Atlantic to the Panama Canal and then onward to the Island of Hawaii. The first stage of the voyage went without incident. However, after passing through the Panama Canal into the Pacific, things took a turn for the worse. There was a huge storm that took out the boats electronics and washed her two friends over board and seriously damaged her boat. Without any electronics and with a damaged boat, Gemma drifted for 17 days until she came across another storm. During the storm, Gemma was knocked unconscious. Gemma woke up on a beach, surrounded by the wreckage of her boat.441987
Here is account of her journey: Within the first hour I had a major panic attack. It was a disturbing feeling, being isolated, alone and so far from home without any hope. I had been on water rations for 2 weeks, so finding water was the first priority. There were no pools of fresh water so I had to dig up a contraption that drew the water away from the rock and provided for one drop every 40 seconds. That was my water source, so it was coconuts until it drained. It definitely was not a great start. The amount of energy everything took was beyond what I expected. For the first two weeks I stayed in a mock shelter I made from debris that washed ashore. I needed to find real shelter so I found a large tree that looked perfect. I scraped away at the bark of a tree with a giant clam shell for 11 days just to build a shelter. It took four weeks before I managed to light a fire. You have no idea how happy I was when that happened. There were eight goats on the island, for adults and 4 kids. I saw them on day one and they seem to taunt me by coming so close I can almost touch them. I made a bow and arrow but this just did not work and my spear was not sharp enough. So when the hunting tools didn't work I spent seven days building a trap with spikes on it. But that was not good enough either. One day I was walking around the island looking for crabs and I saw what I thought was driftwood. It was a goat. The goat had been eating leaves when it got its horns stuck and panicked. It was a massive thing and it was all meat, so I tried squeezing at its windpipe and hitting it on the head with a clam shell. It took about 15 minutes to kill and it was pretty gruesome. It showed me how far I was from being able to hurt because even though it was trapped it still took me too long.
Fast forward a few years and everything has changed. The physical side was tough but ultimately fine. I did a series of exercises on the beach everyday. I managed to get a to a stage where I was getting stronger. I had made a sign on the beach that was about 10 feet high, but it had sat there all this time and nothing came of it. So I decided to go all out I spent the next few weeks clearing space and find materials to build a huge sign in the sand on the beach. My hope was that perhaps a plane might fly over and see it, but in all my time on the island, I had not seen one single plane. I did not give up though.
Fast forward a couple more years. I woke up one morning to the sound of a plane flying over me which was unusually low, I could not believe it, I thought I was in a dream. I ran to the beach screaming and waving my arms like a lunatic. The plane flew over two or three more times and then dropped a small package. Inside was a radio, fresh water, food and a small medical kit. I switch on the radio and heard the first human voice in years. I didn't even know what Google Earth was, but I’m eternally grateful and indebted to them now.
