The year is 2029,the place is lagos,it is already morning and lagosians are moving about there business as usual when all of a sudden a streak of bright light illuminates the gradually brightening day.Heads are turned up in amazement to see what is causing the sudden brightness.From the ground it looks like a fiery ball of fire is coming down, pandemonium sets in,when all of a sudden as if it couldn't get worse the flaming,falling ball of fire splits into numerous pieces.BOOM!!! it lands,in an instant over 30,000 people are killed,there is chaos all over Nigeria.
This is probably what it may feel like if predictions by scientist are accurate.Nigeria has been listed as one of the nine countries that may sustain damage to both land and population if asteroid 99942 which is about 320 meters wide(approximately the length of two-and-a-half football fields),other countries on the list are:USA,china India, japan, Philippines, Italy, Britain,Brazil and Indonesia.
